One compatible cleaning control

Build a repeatable light-angle record
Place the cleaned glasses over a plain neutral surface near a window or diffuse lamp. Include one image with the light source position visible and one showing the lens edge.
A color that travels or changes across both lenses with angle can be associated with normal reflections from layered lens treatments. A fixed island that remains in the same physical location, has a sharp boundary, or is accompanied by haze, fine cracks, roughness, or cleaning-resistant residue needs product-specific inspection. This observation narrows the service question; it does not identify the coating or cause.
Keep water spots, fingerprints, and screen reflections out of the record. Do not rub harder to make a patch disappear, and do not test toothpaste, abrasives, household glass cleaner, heat, or solvent. Those actions can alter the evidence and damage lens or coating materials.
Add a small location map to the service packet: left or right lens, front or back surface when known, distance from the edge, and whether the patch crosses the viewing center. Photograph the frame serial or order identifier separately so it does not obscure the lens. If the appearance changes between sessions, keep both dated image sets rather than replacing the earlier evidence.
