If an over-glasses protector is the only temporary route, verify its internal dimensions against the prescription frame without compressing the temples or contacting lenses. Test the outer product alone and layered, then document which interaction caused failure. Long-term issue should favor a purpose-designed approved system that the worker can don consistently, inspect, clean, and replace through the workplace program.

Include cleaning access in the issue decision: the worker must be able to separate or handle layers according to instructions without dropping the prescription pair or contaminating inner surfaces. Store each product in a designated case or rack so contact damage does not begin before donning.
